  1. My mom was such a vibrant and active person for nearly her entire life. Even in her eighties, the first thing she’d say to me when I walked into a room was, “Do you feel like taking a walk?” I miss that so much. The last year of her life, she was a flicker of light, barely lit, and slept all the time. It’s hard to be too sad, knowing what a full life she lived.
