Guys!! Guess what came in the mail today??
That’s right: bills and advertisements.
…
Okay; also Pam Webb’s new book!!
The generous and highly intelligent (and talented, modest, gifted, amazing…) Madame Webb gifted me a copy after I left a comment on her online book release. She even addressed the inscription to my mother, whom I gave the book to today.
The book is about what activities the grandparents look forward to doing with their grandchildren.
So perfect. Thank you, Cricket Muse!
How very lucky you are. I have always believed this … if you are lucky enough to read a good book you should always review it, if you are gifted a book, you review it and post a blog about your personal thoughts about the book (no spoilers. An encouraging ‘just look at this’ post a ‘you can’t help but miss’ post. I also buy one copy for a person I know will love that book, and will review and share the journey. Writers paying it forward. I am happy your Mum got the book, I am sure she will treasure it.

Odd. If you want one, let me know and I’ll send it your way. 🙂 I’ll even add a ‘u’ if there are any ‘flavours’ or ‘colours.’ 😉

So lovely, Chelsea. What a treat. Sounds like a perfect book for these days when grandparents are missing their grandkids and the other way around. I hope your mom (and kids) get to do some of those adventures soon.

Sounds like a great book!
This grandparent needs to read something like that. I find myself lost of what to do with the grandchildren when they visit. Of course they are getting older, toys really do not cut it with them. Their mother is teaching them the art of having a conversation. No t.v., games, and when appropriate some screen time on the computer.
