Stuie made one good decision: Sadje.
Smoking, drinking, and sneaking into radioactive facilities were not good decisions.
Worst was writing Sadje out of the will.
“All’s fair in love and…” He died.
Sadje tore the will; took the trailer. She loved it.

I blame Deb, and her 42 Words prompt for this week: WAR.
I enjoyed this taut, tiny tale π

Thanks, John! 42 words takes a lot of trimming!

I liked it, too. It needed to be a trailer worth loving.

My maternal grandfather’s second wife tore up the will, said there wasn’t a will, and got all the money and the hotel. However she did it in more that 42 words and took nearly 60 years of saying it (over and over).

So… Sadje’s more succinct about it?
