Carrot Ranch Literary Community

by H.R.R. Gorman

Those who participate in the Ranch prompts or yearly Rodeo saddle up to TUFF (The Ultimate Flash Fiction) it out and train new Rough Riders as we go. Now, the Ranch is hosting a new event to sharpen minds, welcome new hands, and celebrate one of our own the best way we know how: our first ever Rodeo Classic.

Sue has variously contributed to the community here at the Carrot Ranch, through communication with many other bloggers, and run her own famous #writephoto weekly blog prompt. You can (and should!) follow her on her blogs, The Daily Echo and the shared blog France & Vincent. She has inspired us to become better writers and shown…

I’m trying. It’s not what I want it to be. Have to rework it.

I printed it to use ink but we had to have family that we have not visited inside with in our house to stay warm. We all wore masks and stayed distanced. I’m tired. I need to go to bed !

            What is the byline? Title+Byline+99xxxx

Sorry, Ruth. That’s if you want to add a descriptor to the title. Like: Woods (title), A Story of Trees (byline). It’s not necessary. Even the title is not necessary, if you don’t want one.

    I’ve entered, Chelsea. Have you?

I agree. I wrote my 99 in Word, but when I put it into the counter, it counted 100, so I deleted one. I hope it counted 99 for the judges. I’ll be disappointed if it’s disqualified. I don’t expect to win, but I’d like to at least qualify.
