“I think the biggest disease this world suffers from in this day and age is the disease of people feeling unloved.”
…I think the…people need someone in public life to give affection, to make them feel important, to support them, to give them light in their dark tunnels.”

Princess Diana, “An Interview with HRH The Princess of Wales,” BBC, 20 November 1995

  1. There’s a horrible irony, her talking about lighting up tunnels of darkness when the Paparazzi were chasing her across town, down tunnels, pushing boundaries, all but killing her by pinning her in their camera popping spotlight. Very sad.

  2. It is such a simple concept. People want to know that someone cares about them. It makes me sad to think there are people who feel unloved and unwanted.

  3. Love and inclusion we can but hope that change happens very soon especially as this pandemic has taught people (hopefully) that they need to be kind and the love will follow 🙂 x
