I’ve found my feet
way down, below.
My life’s complete
with my big toe
And, pinky, too
…and all the rest –
the names of who(m)
I’ve only guessed.
The point, you see,
is they’re all there;
standing, waiting:
my feet, a pair.
-At least, I thought,
as in I sucked,
a glimpse I caught
past tummy, tucked.

Love it! And the narration was splendid. You might have a whole new career opening for you in audiobooks.

That listen was a hoot. I loved the sound of tucking in the tummy while you read. Fun doings, Chelsea.

Thanks!! Honestly, it needed that so the reader will pause there.

It clearly demonstrated the difference between reading it and hearing the author speak it. That was kind of fascinating.

My aunt suggested it was like Shel Silverstein, which is very likely my motivation for doing a reading. I love his audio.

I haven’t heard his audios. He is a favorite around here. 🙂

That’s very nice of you! I’m sure I’ve an annoying reading voice. Have you tried doing a reading on your blog?

Honestly, you got a marvelous voice and amazing reading with expression, you just have to close your eyes and publish one to realise how soon you are getting fans. With my voice 😂😂 Seriously no. I never tried that. my voice in my head is admiring, but none can hear that😕😋.

Don’t go after your feet with a club, though. That will hurt.

Love it, I remember seeing my feet for the first time after the birth of my son. I could do up my own shoes again 😁

How lovely to hear you reading this, I am delighted that you have found those feet💜.
You’ve found your feet
My joy for you’s replete
We hoped they’d still be there
But doubt had crept in to be fair.
Had they gone off on holiday
While your bump held sway?
All I can say, Chel my dear
I’m glad for you, they are still here! 🙂💜
