Don’t you just love the wholesomeness of old propaganda posters?

We saw this in a cute, little museum in South Jordan, Utah. Guess the Kennecott Copper Corporation felt the need to reassure folks about their destruction of the environment and shattering of the peace for a “free America.” After all, “Kennecott will do its share toward meeting the country’s needs.”

I like this little propaganda piece. It leaves me wanting to apply for a job there, so I can blow things up.

Who’s in charge? No-one from Health And Safety, that’s for sure.

Nothing makes dynamite mellower than taking a drink before blowing up the mountainside.😎

Because when you’re knee deep in tnt, you want it to be the fourth of July. 😉

I often think of your series when I think of the Copper Mine out here.

Love this Chel. Can’t imagine feeling comforted about the noise and ground rumbles looking at this poster. Great find.

I know! What a reassuring poster while your foundations crumble…
