The lamest in advertising here was when a rival to Marmite started out marketing itself as Pawill. Ma might, Pa will. Geddit? That didn’t work, unsurprisingly, so they changed it to Vegemite and it became a national icon.
Hahaha dammit. That one got me. I’m a sucker for good puns too, especially if companies dare to use them. Also, I actually think that the people who love the corniest puns are the ones who’ve best mastered the language, for some reason.
I think you’re right. My favorite aspects of English are clever ones, like puns or double entendres; I’ve lamented I don’t understand other languages I’ve studied enough to do the same with them.

I had to search them up. Their other producrs are super hot pepper sauces. None with the quality of the a salt pun.
